It is like a Caucasian will respond as a Caucasian (it is a proper noun) maintains this blog.

Clearly by the fact you have access to the internet you are not as disadvantaged as the Aboriginals in the rural areas who do not even have computers.

A lot of the advantages given to the disadvantaged is to help encourage them to break the tall poppy syndrome which exists. Generally it is far from enough and more has to be done.

As a comparison, when I go to lunch with a friend in a wheelchair I walk slower for her and give her extra time. I understand that for her to get to the destination there has to be concessions. If there is not the concessions my on my behalf she just would not be able to make it to lunch. It is the same for the disadvantaged communities. They need the help and concessions to get a chance to make it to the same destination.

you may wonder why I use the name white– that’s my real last name. very common, and you have no idea how much crap I have received for it. I am not saying that blacks or any one else is a worse person becuase of the color of their skin– I’m saying that white’s aren’t. You have made one reference to one of the email’s claims– and then went on to say how white people are in control ect. ect.— NO, its just that the ruling class happens to be mostly white. not by accident, but I will say that for every white snob in a gated compound there are ten who live from pay check to paycheck, live in bad housing, ect. ect.. but the accusations are true– I have to get higher test scores on average to get a scholarship–explain. “blacks on average are poorer” — then shouldn’t we target poverty, not ethnicity? what I don’t get is why they can actively further the cause of their ethnicity and not be called racist. Generally, in my experience, Pride means you are glad you are not something. maybe other ethnicities are insecure about their supuriority. Or maybe we just let them think think that we were working to advance them and not to root out injustice. AND BEFORE YOU ANSWER THIS, READ THAT EMAIL AND THEN TELL ME WHAT RIGHTS, RIGHTS, NOT ADVANTAGES, WHITE PEOPLE HAVE THAT EVERYBODY ELSE DOESN’T HAVE NOW, IN 2009, AND THEN TELL ME WHY EVERY ONE ELSE CAN BE PROUD OF WHERE THEY CAME FROM.
(and the most ironic thing is I’m just as likely to get a reply from a caucasion as anyone else)

You disgust me. You truly are a racist person. Maybe your kids have been chased off of a basketball court, but was it done BECAUSE the people on it were black? Probably not. You do not act a certain way because of your race. Its a choice people make. I’m not condoning what SOME of the people in your complex do, but you cannot possibly make me believe that every bad thing that happens in your apt. complex is dude to the race of some of its inhabitants. You are racist and God help your children for having a parent who will inevitably bring them up to believe that there is something wrong with black people simply because of the color of their skin. Thank God Obama is president.

You must live in a bubble somewhere! Maybe your just and idiot! Because you have no idea what the average white person has to deal with.

I live in an apartment complex. I was injured in an accident so am off work for a few weeks. I am a professional woman, please keep that in mind.

In the last 2 weeks, I have had my car keyed (paint scratched off with something like a key) and my vehicle tags stolen. This all happened right after I complained about VERY loud noise coming from a black neighbor. This noise had been going on for months. I went up introduced myself and asked them to keep it down several times. It got so bad that I didn’t have a choice but to call the landlord and as him to talk to them. I have to sleep at some point.

Basically, my choice turned out to be either; live with the noise, or ask them to keep it down and risk my property being destroyed, not to mention the threat of bodily harm.

My apartment complex also has a basket ball court and a pool. My children can’t play basketball! The black people chase them off the court, threaten to beat them up, and STEAL their basketball!

We have SEVERAL arrests here every week. It must be noted that this complex is about 60%-40%. Whites being 60%. Every single time there is an arrest, it’s a black person, so far it has always been males.

We can’t swim in the pool because it is always full of Black people tresspassing on the property!!! NEVER one singe time has it been a carload of WHITE kids! Always black! Every single time!!!

I have to live with this on a daily basis. So I invite you to come stay a few weeks with me. In the real word, outside of your happy little bubble. Get a good taste of it then write your stupid little blog.

I’m glad I got that email. I didn’t think it was mean or ugly. I thought it was true. I just as sick of it as the person that wrote it. So go ahead and get out of your ALL WHITE neighborhood where you are all safe and sound. You don’t have a clue.
